Leadership

Cornerstone Chruch is elder-led, with our membership voting in our elders to lead the congregation. The elders shepherd the flock by guarding, feeding, and overseeing those who have been entrusted to them. Our team of elders meet regularly to pray and seek the Lord's direction for our church.

The Lord has blessed us with wonderful facilities at 2 Shermer and 30 Shermer. The Deacons are responsible for maintaining these facilities and providing leadership in how our body utilizes our spaces. Our deacons are voted in by membership. 

Our deaconesses are responsible for preparing communion, overseeing our hospitality spaces, and providing care in times of trouble. Their work can be seen every Sunday during our coffee hour, monthly at our communion services, and any time we have potlucks or other after church events. Our deaconesses are voted in by our membership.
